Marketplace Ministries was birthed in 2007 in the New Age market town of Totnes, Devon. Our mandate (assignment from God) was to present Jesus as an alternative spirituality to those exploring other spiritualities. On market day we had a stall offering spiritual readings, healing and dream interpretations. We saw hundreds encounter Jesus and, as a result, get saved and healed each year.
Since then Marketplace has grown into a global ministry. Though we no longer have a stall in the market, we have branched out and now run a variety of projects in Totnes, the UK and overseas. Marketplace Ministries is called to build community that:
- Understands and operates from the Spirit as our primary dwelling place, knowing that from there all things are birthed
- Understands our individual identities and destinies, which facilitates true unity
- Facilitates a corporate destiny as the Body of Christ
Our focus is the Supernatural Realm. We are passionate about teaching, equipping and enabling the church to operate from the Spirit first, just as Jesus did. He only did what He saw His Father doing.
Our mandate is to govern as Sons with the authority of the Father, to see established "On earth as in Heaven" and to raise up others to do the same. We are committed to seeing the freedom, healing and restoration that Jesus established on the Cross for ALL mankind manifested on the earth.
