What is Inner Healing?
Inner Healing is a term for the process of healing the wounds in our soul and thereby reversing their effects.
As we journey through life ‘stuff’ happens. Our soul gets wounded by these events and we make choices that impinge on our ability to function according to heavenly principles in our life. Due to these wounds we often make choices that cause us to change our identity. When we are not fully the person we were created to be we can not fully step into our God given destiny.
At Marketplace Ministries we offer a Restoring Your Identity school. This encompasses a journey of Inner Healing, including forgiveness, freedom from rejection and setting ourselves free from curses both personal and generational.

Is Inner Healing in the Bible?
Absolutely! Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Jesus came to not only heal broken bodies, but broken hearts as well. He is just as concerned with the health of our hearts as He is with the health of our bodies. After all, one of the names of God is Jehovah-Rapha - The God Who Heals.
What we do in inner healing is invite Holy Spirit into those painful places where we've been deeply wounded, and allow Him to bring His healing.
